Black Stripe Short Sleeve Bodycon Mini Dress | Black Fox Purse | Shell Pink Crepe Kimono Sleeve Top | Blue Gem Bib Necklace | Black Floral Print Contrast Hem T-Shirt
I’m pretty sure New Look always have items in the sale and if you look hard enough you can find some absolute gems. I decided to put together my top 5 picks, currently available in their sale online that are all £5 or under!
First up is this really simple, striped, bodycon, monochrome dress. This is pretty perfect for any time of the year but now that the weather has finally started to get a bit better, I think it would look great with some Chelsea boots(do I just pair everything with Chelsea boots? oops.) or gladiator sandals for a more summery look. A really versatile piece that I think could also be easily styled up for the evening.
Cute purse alert! I’m starting to really like anything fox related(especially fox print on shirts, it’s just adorable) and this purse is no exception. I really don’t need another purse because I legit have a whole draw full of the damn things. Although, I don’t think any are quite as cute as this one.
Back onto the note of warmer weather, I practically live in loose fitted tops throughout the summer, simply because they’re the only thing that I can manage to keep cool in whilst battling with the ridiculous Mediterranean temperatures. I love the kimono style sleeves on this tee, it makes a really simple piece look a little more dressy. Another item that will go with absolutely anything. Shorts, high wasited pants, a bodycon skirt, seriously, anything. The biggest bargain of them all, at just £4.
I think bib necklaces look so elegant! They’re perfect for sprucing up a head to toe plain black or white outfit(although there’s nothing wrong with dressing head to toe in black, represent!). I really love the deep shade of blue of the gem’s, do you know what I mean when I say that it reminds me of mermaids? No? Okay. I find that necklace bibs are often incredibly over priced but for £5, you can’t really go wrong.
Last but certainly not least is my favourite of the five items. By now I’m sure you’re all aware that I’m a big lover of all things floral and all things monochrome, so I’m sure it’s no surprise to see this T-shirt up there. I really love the contrast hem with the alternate colours, again, a pretty simple item but ever so pretty! Pair this with a pair of black or white jeans and black heels for the evening or a black skater skirt for a more casual, day time look.
So what do you think of these items? Have you bagged yourself a bargain in any sales recently? Let me know!
