You did not wake up today to be mediocre
Shouldn’t we all always do everything with our everything? If we’re passionate about something, shouldn’t we give our all to that something? I like to think that I throw myself into things, but sometimes I think I throw myself into too many things at once and it makes things a little complicated.

I love blogging. I love writing. I love creating. I love capturing moments in photographs and recording things here on this little blog of mine. I really do put my absolute everything into every single post that I share here, but I think sometimes I set the bar too high for myself.

You might know that I’m currently doing vlogmas and although I’m finding it a little challenging, I am loving it all the same. You may also have noticed that for a long time now, there hasn’t really been any consistency with blog posts, or schedule shall we say. I used to stick to really strict schedules with my blog but I just kept raising the bar higher and higher until I could no longer reach my own personal goals and I’d end up on the floor with the bar fallen on my head.
In just twenty days time, it will be the start of a brand new year. I really want 2017 to be my year. You all know that Jack and I are of course expecting our first child in January, so that will of course make 2017 the best year of our lives so far, regardless of anything else that happens between Sunday January 1st 2017 and Sunday December 31st 2017, but I really hope that I can continue to grow my little corner of the internet and continue to share my stories with the world.
After all, isn’t that what we all do? Share stories? Whether it’s in the form of a blog post or a Facebook status update, we’re all constantly sharing our stories and our lives with the rest of the world. There is only one of you, so why share your story half arsed or un-animated? Don’t let your story be mediocre, make it a great one.
