Well would you look at that, it’s December! I know everyone and their dog has said this already but I honestly can not believe how quick the time has gone this year. My days certainly feel long but they seem to pass by so quickly at the same time. Today I thought I’d share with you how we’re planning on spending Christmas this year. I’ve always loved Christmas but I feel like this year is extra special as it’s our first as a family of three! Oh, please excuse Tyler’s dribble and his wee bruise, he’s a rough one already!

When I was pregnant, I dreamed of Christmas morning with my baby. There is just something so equally magical about Christmas and children isn’t there? I know Tyler will only be ten and a half months old come Christmas day and that he will most likely be more interested in the wrapping paper, boxes and food more than anything else, but that’s fine by me. It will still be a wonderful time of year for us as a family.

We already have a couple of things ready for Christmas and the lead up to it to help us make some lovely memories, including some gorgeous personalised items from 2GreenMonkeys. I adore keepsake items and these personalised “Tyler’s first Christmas” stocking(£20) and Christmas block(£22.50) are beyond adorable. All of the items over at 2GreenMonkeys are handmade(and I must say, the quality is impeccable!) and their entire Christmas collection is available to be personalised! You can see the full Christmas range here.

As I’ve mentioned in my last couple of blog posts, we’re moving into our new house soon(just in time for Christmas) and I can’t wait to get Tyler’s stocking hung up!

Over the Christmas holiday’s we’re spending time between my parents house, Jack’s parents house and our own home. I’m itching to get all of our decorations out but for now, I’ll have to pop round to my mum’s house for that festive feeling as she always goes all out and honestly, her house is like a Christmas grotto!

If you’re subscribed to my YouTube channel, you’ll have already seen these next few items from Inspired By Alma. With a beautiful selection of cake toppers(Including a personalised one) I’ve got a lot of baking to do this month! Of course, once I’ve used my cake toppers I’ll be saving them for next Christmas, but I think I might stick our personalised one into our family scrapbook, what do you think?

Funny story, you can see in the photo below that I tried to take a cute Christmas photo of Tyler with confetti falling from “the sky” but well.. let’s just say, this was the least awful! I mean, Tyler looks adorable of course, but the confetti wasn’t floating around as much as I’d have like it to..

We were also very kindly gifted the Merry Christmas wall banner, which is something that I’ll be reusing every year from now on! Not only does it make for a cute Christmas backdrop for photos with Tyler, but it really does look lovely up in our home! You can shop the entire Inspired By Alma Christmas range here.

I don’t know what more I can say except that I’m just so bloody excited and pleased that the most wonderful time of the year is finally here! If you’re interested in reading how our Christmas turns out, I’m already planning on writing a blog post all about it and maybe filming a vlog too! What are your plans for this Christmas?
