I love spending time outdoors, but living in cold and rainy England means that I don’t actually get to spend as much time exploring as I’d like to! Recently I’ve been looking at some outdoor activities to add to my 2018 bucket list, so I thought I’d share some of them with you!
I actually went rock climbing once when I was about 11 on a school trip in Spain and it was oddly exhilarating! It’s not something that I will be able to do with Tyler for a little while yet, but I’m sure it will be something that we can enjoy together as a family as he gets older.
Not only would I need to invest in a snorkel mask and a wet suit, but I’d love to scuba dive and film the experience! Simply scuba have a huge range of diving equipment, including underwater cameras, so you can capture all that wonder in the deep blue!
All day forest hike
We technically live in the countryside and with the Cotswolds and The Forest of Dean on our doorstep, I’m actually surprised this hasn’t been ticked off my list yet. Sure, we’ve had days out and about in the countryside, but I’m really up for a proper all day hike. We’ll pack a picnic, take our cameras and pop Tyler in the baby sling and off we’ll go!
I don’t mean anything too mental, I don’t fancy trying to avoid huge rocks with uncontrollable currents beneath me, but I’d love to kayak somewhere like Cornwall, where there are lots of little nooks and crannies to explore on the sea front!
I have always wanted to go camping but I’ve just never gotten around to it! Even the one time that I attended Download Festival I didn’t camp, but that was because we had travelled from Spain to get there, otherwise we would have camped, but taking camping gear on a flight just wasn’t in our budget!
Have you ever scuba dived? How about kayaking? Or will you also be adding these to your bucket list? I’d love to know!
