Well it’s been over a year since I’ve had this segment on the blog, so welcome back quotes of the week! I decided to revive this blog segment as I used to really enjoy doing it and I’m not actually quite sure why I stopped! I do know that the last quote of the week I shared was when I was in hospital waiting to be induced with Tyler, so that’s well over a year ago now isn’t it! Having a new quote each week to focus on really helps me with my general mood and overall well being, so I hope it will help you reading too! I also decided to make it possible to subscribe to just these quote posts via email, to receive your weekly does of Monday motivation straight to your inbox!(Sign up form is at the bottom of this post!)
This weeks quote are some wise words from Eleanor Roosevelt. “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” I can’t say I was familiar with this quote until I found it online last week, but it really struck a cord within me. It’s a quote I could have done with as a young teenager. Other people can not bring you down, unless you let them bring you down. Their opinion of you, does not define you. If someone is making you feel inferior, you are allowing them to make you feel that way. You don’t need someone in your life that makes you feel anything less than wonderful! Can I get a hallelujah from the back?
I’m really excited to be reviving this segment on the blog and I hope you are too! Remember to subscribe to the quote of the week to receive some wonderful weekly motivation straight to your inbox!
