Last month, I shared some intentions here on the blog. Then, last week I shared a recap on those intentions. I really enjoyed having a think about what I’d like to do for the month ahead for myself and sharing it here and almost holding myself a bit more accountable for them. So I’m back with four more intentions for the month of June and I’d love to hear if you have any intentions this month too?

This was actually one of my new years resolutions, that I wrote about in this blog post. I vowed to read 52 books this year and we’re 23 weeks into 2019 and I’m on book 11, so I’m not doing GREAT, but hey, that’s (almost)11 books read! In the last two or so months, I’ve read just two books and I really want to spend more of my “free” time reading rather than scrolling aimlessly through my phone. I might even re-try doing some early evening switch offs. Follow along with how I get on with that over on my Instagram. (Oh the irony) 

Mindful Eating

When I put better things into my body, it thanks me. I feel less tired, my skin is clearer and I just feel more bouncy in myself. So I’m going to try really hard to be more mindful of the foods I’m eating. I’m a sucker for processed sugar and I honestly believe that sugar is ADDICTIVE. So I’m going to spend a bit more time this month being a bit more mindful about my choices.

Lists, lists, lists!

I, like many, love a good list. I write lists for so many aspects of my life and they help to keep me sane. I’ve fallen off of the list bandwagon for a little while and I have honestly felt the effects. This June, I want to get back into making my daily and weekly lists to help me plan better and just get better at prioritising tasks so that I can actually get things done. Sometimes I feel like I’m trying to do everything but not actually getting anything done! Do you love a list?

Now, I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to incorporate any blog related intentions into this but then I thought, my blog is such a big part of my life, so why not! I suppose this ties into my lists intention but this month I’ll be sharing a minimum of two blog posts a week. My aim is to get back to three new posts a week but I’m still working on my creative groove so I’ll let you know if I manage to get back to creating that much content each week.
